Volunteer at Camp

The annual Girls Rock! Indy summer
day-camp would not be possible without the help of volunteers.
It's a great opportunity to work with youth aged 9 - 16, meet new people, and share skills, and learn!
Whether you work directly with campers or help with logistics and set up, volunteering at camp is guaranteed to be a life-changing experience!

2019 Camp Dates:

Session I - July 8 - 13

Session II - July 15 - 20

Mandatory Volunteer Orientation: July 7 (afternoon)

Girls Rock! Indy summer camp has a high adult to camper ratio. We make a concerted effort to be accessible to all campers regardless of ability to pay. Therefore we rely on volunteers.

Continuity is important for some of our camp positions, since our volunteers build a relationship with a small group of campers throughout the week. We understand it isn't easy for volunteers to free up a whole week (or two) of their time, and we value your time and talent tremendously, so in recent years we have been able to offer modest stipends for those volunteers who can commit to a whole week of camp (either a half day or a full day).  For more information about stipends contact kyra@girlsrockindy.org.
